Uninstall GameZooks (Removal Guide)

Persistent GameZooks ads keep popping up on Google chrome? I have tried antiviruses, ad blockers, and adware cleaning software, and none work. I can’t find any associated malware program in the uninstall menu, or the browser extension menu, but the GameZooks ads just keep coming up. Is there someplace the program could be hidden so that I can remove it manually?
I have gone through all the steps on the GameZooks malware removal guide. I have a toshiba satellite c55-a laptop running windows 8.1. I don’t know how but I have this GameZooks malware on my computer and it pops up ads on every page I open. They are all labeled as GameZooks. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
